"I am Mitesh Kadvani currently working as a team coordinator for DSE Team in Decos. I am working with Decos Since March-2005. It is almost 5+ years. In this duration, I have learned a lot. Apart from technical skill, I have improved my behavioral, managerial and communication skill also. Very positive point I found in Decos is, the open culture and healthy working environment provided to engineers. Here employees have freedom to do anything which help to grow themselves and the organization. Decos provides good infrastructure, challenging work with latest technologies (which gives job satisfaction) and competent salary which are the only needs of today's IT engineer in India. Decos has separate plan and budget for training their engineers. Training includes technical, managerial, communication, etc. which helps employees to improve their soft skills also. I found that the environment at Decos is very supportive. You can approach almost anybody for any query that you may have. I was quickly assigned to a project and put in direct touch with client. My TL helped me a lot to make myself comfortable quickly in new place and environment. All things were in place for me the day I joined which signaled how well organized is the company.

Tiju John – On completing 2 months

My first two months at Decos are really good. The team is helping and seniors are encouraging. I got to know many people during picnic that has just happened. We all now share a common bond and I feel I have a turned into a true Decosian in this short period of time. Here the culture is open, structure is flat and environment is conducive for growth on technical and personal front. I got to learn many things on how to write efficient programs. We have a Decos knowledgebase internally, which helps in writing codes quickly. I wish to see this knowledgebase growing with my progress in career at Decos.

So far, it’s being a good experience and I am excited for the things to come. I learnt a few new things about IT Sales from Abhiram, which I am sure will help me perform better. My team-mates have been very supportive helping me come up the learning curve. They have extended me a helping hand most of the times. Even people from other teams/department have been very co-operative. I feel that Decos is a very open and transparent organization which encourages an individual to express his views and to do things in his/her own way. This empowerment and freedom is what differentiates Decos from many other organizations. Also, the HR guys did a very good job while my orientation with the company and made me feel very comfortable.

In-flight experience

Balram Chavan and Niranjan Patel had been offered an opportunity to fly with founder of Decos, Mr. Paul Veger, in his small aircraft as a token of appreciation for their hard work at Decos India.

Flying for 45 minutes with Paul, founder of Decos, in his own small jetprop was a great experience. Peter who was copilot explained all the technical aspects of aircraft and flying. I am thankful to the management for extending this opportunity. This was really a great way appreciating hard work that developers put in. Such creative initiatives have always been part of Decos culture.

Balram Chavan – In-flight experience

I was very excited for my first ever flying experience that too in a small private aircraft with Paul. I was chosen as the fastest growing engineer at Decos and this flight was offered to me as a token of appreciation. It felt so great to know that. It was interesting to hear tower messages and see cockpit operations so closely. We were talking to each other through headphones. It seemed as if I was in a different world altogether. It is really motivating for me as a developer.
