Decos Virtual Chess Tournament 2010

Decos is proud to present India’s first Virtual IT Chess Tournament. The tournament will be open for all the software professionals working with IT companies in Pune.

The tournament will be hosted on 18th and 19th of December 2010 on world’s leading chess portal. The players will get connected to the portal virtual platform through internet. On the first day of the tournament the groups will be created and the players will within their group. The groups will be created automatically by the system.

The players will be scored on the basis of their performance in all games. The top scoring players from the first day will be put to play knock-out matches on second day.

There will be cash prizes worth INR 90,000 for the winners and runner-ups. More than 190 companies have registered themselves for this tournament. This is the record for any corporate tournament being played in India.
